Overview
The Single Video Embed Player displays one video at a time, rotating on a preset schedule. This format is ideal for surfacing key training messages or safety tips without user interaction.
This article explains how to:
- Manually change the featured videos
- Understand how the rotation schedule works
- Coordinate with Vimocity to adjust display timing

Definitions
- Featured Video: The video currently displayed in the embed player
- Video Rotation: How often the featured video changes
Basic Operation
- The video in the top position of your playlist is the Featured Video that displays in the embedded player
- When a video's display time ends, it automatically moves to the bottom of the playlist
- The video in the 2nd position then moves to the top and becomes the Featured Video
Changing the Featured Video
- To change the Featured Video: simply move any video to the top position
- Upon saving the playlist, the Featured Video for that embed player will then change to whichever video is in the top position
- The system will display your chosen video until the next scheduled Video Rotation time
Scheduled Video Rotation

Video Rotations occur automatically based on your preset interval
- Example: If you have a 7 day video rotation, the Feature Video will change to the subsequent video in the playlist every week on Monday
- If you change the Featured Video, that new video will remain as the Featured Video until the next Video Rotation
- Example: If you update the featured video on Friday, it will display until Sunday night, then the next scheduled video appears Monday morning
Display Duration
- The current display duration appears in the bottom right corner of the embedded player
- You currently cannot change this setting yourself
