Overview

V-minder is a tool for your desk-based workforce that helps improve productivity and reduce pain levels. The Windows desktop application prompts employees to follow along to short, guided movement videos that help minimize stiffness and improve mobility.

These 1-minute, coach-led videos reduce the negative effects of long-term sitting by focusing on proper breathing and dynamic movement.

How To Get Started With V-minder:

*Option 1- Software Center*

To download the V-minder app on your work computer follow the steps below:

  1. If you don’t already have a Vimocity account, create one at portal.vimocity.com. 
  2. Verify that all updates have been completed on your computer.
  3. Go to the software center and select the V-minder software. Look for a blue tile with a “V”.
  4. Open the V-minder software. This can be located either on your desktop or by typing “V-minder” into your Windows search bar.
  5. Click “Sign-in” and use your Vimocity credentials.

OR

*Option 2- IT Push Method*

  1. Wait for IT to push V-minder to all desktops within your organization automatically.
  2. V-minder will appear automatically on employees’ desktops for immediate use.

  • Choose to receive moves that can be performed seated, standing, or both

How To Get Started:

To download the V-minder app, go to portal.vimocity.com/v-minder on your work computer. Install the app and log in using your Vimocity credentials. Once you’re logged into the app, you can set up your notifications and preferences.
